April is Financial Literacy month. It’s a time when lots of information, in many different formats, will be available to help you become even more financially literate and develop the skills you need to make good financial decisions for yourself, your family and your community. I encourage you to seek out this information in books; magazines; the internet; Facebook; my website, www.yourmoneywiz.com; and many others. You’ll find topics such as budgeting, credit/debt management, retirement planning and much more.
You can get a real head start on educating yourself on these subjects and many others by reading one or both of my books: Mimi, Money and Me—101 Realities About Money Daddy Never Taught Me but Mama Always Knew; and Money Secrets for the Sandwich Generation (Squeezed in the Financial Middle). Both are available on my website.
